The fourth and final key unlocks the Godseeker's cocoon in the Junk Pit and, when she is freed, she drops her Godtuner. The locked grate to the Waterway is just left of the Pleasure House and allows player to access an incredibly valuable item: Isma's Tear. This allows the Knight to swim through acid unharmed. The third key unlocks the entrance to the Royal Waterway in the City of Tears. The ghost of Songstress Marissa also resides here, and if the player entrusted Milibelle with Geo, this is where she runs off to. The second key unlocks the Pleasure House, allowing players to access a hot spring that recharges Soul. RELATED: Metroid: How to Find & Play the Original Series Being able to summon the Knight's shade, especially if it was holding a lot of Geo, means accessing what was lost without having to travel back to the dangerous area where the Knight was killed. This is home to Jiji's, an incredibly useful NPC who can summon the Knight's shade in exchange for a Rancid Egg. The first is a locked cave in Dirtmouth located just beyond the graveyard to the right of the well. There are four locations where players can use simple keys. Once it's dead, take the fourth simple key. The Knight will need to chase the Lurker down and kill it, which can be tricky as they move quickly and leave spikes in their wake. In a hidden area behind the Colosseum of Fools (which can be accessed by breaking through the wall and dropping down to the bottom), there's a Pale Lurker holding a key. The fourth and final simple key was added as part of the Godmaster DLC, and it's a little trickier to find than the others. The third key is harder to find, as it's located inside the corpse of a Mawlurk in the lowest region of the Ancient Basin. After heading right and bypassing the Mawlurks shooting at the Knight, players will encounter a corpse. Inside it, the Knight will find a dead Royal Retainer holding a simple key. It's in an area guarded by Winged Sentries, which must be defeated before heading toward the upper alcove on the right to retrieve the key. Another simple key can be found in the City of Tears just below the City Storerooms. This key is, by far, the easiest to acquire, though it is on the expensive side.
Once Sly moves back to Dirtmouth, he opens a shop when the Knight can purchase a key for 950 Geo, the game's currency.
The first simple key can be purchased from a merchant named Sly after he's discovered in the Abandoned Village at the bottom of the Forgotten Crossroads.
